Charles Sturt University Columbo (CSUC) is an offshore campus of Charles Sturt University (the University), operated by the University in partnership with Prospects College of Higher Education (PCHE). The University and PCHE are subject to applicable privacy laws in NSW, Australia and Sri Lanka to the extent they collect, use and disclose your personal information or personal data (together personal information).

If you wish to submit an enquiry in relation to CSUC and courses offered, you must consent to your personal information being collected, shared with (disclosed between) and used by the University and PCHE, due to the partnership between the University and PCHE, to enable us to manage your enquiries. This may involve the transmission and storage of personal information outside of New South Wales, Australia or Sri Lanka.

Personal information you provide to the University is managed in accordance with the University’s Privacy Management Plan that demonstrates the University’s commitment to meeting its obligations under applicable privacy laws including, as applicable, the Privacy and Personal Information Protection Act 1998 (NSW) (PPIPA), the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth). For personal data you provide to PCHE the Personal Data Act No. 9 of 2022 is the primary law that governs the protection of personal data in Sri Lanka.

I agree to the University and PCHE accessing, collecting, using, storing, disclosing, sharing and disposing of my personal information in accordance with this Privacy Statement and Disclaimer.

Without limitation to that consent:

1. I consent to my personal information being collected by and shared with and between the University and PCHE to support them in managing my enquiries, and
2. I understand and accept that my personal information and personal data may also be disclosed to a person or organisation external to the University or PCHE for purposes other than those stated above where such disclosure is required or permitted by law or if I have otherwise provided my express consent.
